What is Consumer Duty

Consumer Duty is part of the FCA's strategy to make financial services work better for customers.
It sets out clearer and higher expectations for the standard of care firms give customers.
It requires firms to act in good faith, avoid foreseeable harm to their customers and support and empower them to make good financial decisions.
Mortgage lenders like Tandem, are required to provide brokers with all the information they need to help them meet their responsibility as distributors of our products.
